ENISA Warns of Internet Vulnerabilities

European Union Agency for Network and Information Security issues new report. Report: Internet infrastructure remains susceptible to a variety of threats, including routing attacks, DNS spoofing and poisoning attacks and distributed denial-of-service disruptions. ENISA focuses on improving cybersecurity practices for the 28 EU member states. Internet service providers need to get better at sharing threat information, spotting and disrupting botnet-related communications, the report says. Better DDoS attack defenses are reportedly also on the way, with new options offering “backward compatibility” with existing infrastructure.”]
