Drunk droning could cost you jail time in New Jersey

The bill would make inebriated droning a disorderly persons offense, putting the blood alcohol concentration at 0.08% or more. Violating the rules would be punishable with a jail sentence of up to six months or a $1,000 fine. It would also impose stiffer penalties for interfering with correctional facilities or emergency personnel. The bill was sponsored by state Sen.
