DogeVault says attackers gained access to virtual machines

An online wallet for the dog-themed cryptocurrency dogecoin says it lost 280 million coins, worth about US$130,000. DogeVault says it likely also lost its database containing user account information. The service had 400 million coins in its “hot wallet,” a reserve that allows people quick access to their virtual currency. It said 120 million dogecoins had been recovered, 120 million of them have been recovered; traders advised not to move funds into Dogevault addresses.”]
