The three students behind the ConnectU website were behind the now-defunct website. The students were involved in the creation of the website in 2004. The website is now owned by the University of Cambridge, Cambridge University. It is the first time the students have been involved in a major project in the U.S. to use the website to create a website to share their own images and videos of their work.
