DHS Warns Contractors About Breach Of Its Web Portal

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has sent warning letters to 114 organizations whose data was exposed. Hundreds of documents were accessed without authorization without authorization. The breach is believed to have occurred in the past four months. None of the documents were classified, according to DHS, the agency says. The incident remains under investigation, and all appropriate measures have been taken, a DHS S&T spokesperson says. Last year, DHS warned employees that their data may have been compromised after a vulnerability was discovered in software used by a DHS vendor.”]
