Devsecops gains momentum in Australia

A new Australian presence for devsecops leader GitLabs will be a shot in the arm for businesses and government agencies. Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC)s maiden Commonwealth Cyber Security Posture report found that Australian Commonwealth entities responded to 427 incidents. 36 per cent of incidents related to suspected or confirmed indicators of compromise, 18 per cent to malicious emails, 14 per cent from scanning or brute-force reconnaissance. A further 34 incidents (8 percent) related to system compromise one of several measures highlighting the ongoing vulnerabilities in core systems.”]
