Despite all the advice, 97.7% of Twitter users have still not enabled two-factor authentication

Twitter has revealed that just 2.3% of its users are using two-factor authentication (2FA) This is one of the simplest ways to harden account security. Once enabled, Twitter will prompt you to confirm that you are authorised to access the account by entering a six digit code or using a security key. Unlike your Twitter password, the code doesn’t remain the same – it’s a unique number generated by a hardware key or authenticator app on your smartphone or sent to you via SMS.”]
