DerbyCon: Former BlueHat prize winner will bypass Control Flow Guard in Windows 10

Windows 10, and even Windows 8.1 Update 3, uses Control Flow Guard (CFG) to protect against memory-corruption attacks. CFG is also part of Microsoft’s Edge browser. Jared DeMott and Rafal Wojtczuk will present “Gadgets Zoo” at DerbyCon on Friday. Microsoft has no comment at this time on bypassing CFG, which Microsoft said “doesn’t affect all systems” Yet Microsoft isn’t going to pay a bounty.”]
