DDoS Attacks Spread Beyond Banking

DDoS attacks on U.S. electric utility also reportedly hit a utility company’s website. The attack took the company’s online payment and automated pay-by-phone billing systems offline for two days. No evidence to tie this attack to the same hacktivist group, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters.
