DDoS Attacks on Banks: No Break In Sight

Hacktivists’ attacks on U.S. banking institutions are now in the eighth week of their third phase. The first phase of attacks lasted six weeks; the second phase ran seven weeks. Experts say they don’t anticipate the hackers will take a break as they did after the two previous campaigns. The attacks have not been linked to fraud, but concerns about malicious intent are mounting, experts say. “The effectiveness of the attacks has proven to be proven,” says cyber-security expert.”]
