The European Commission and Catherine Ashton have submitted a draft of Cybersecurity Strategy of the European Union The document is a first of its kind with regard to the institutions mentioned. The aim is to preserve Information and communications technology between the countries of the EU, contributing to ensure, in collaboration with other national and international authorities, a cyberspace open, safe and secure, says Catherine Ashton. The approach is oriented to the cyber threats and related effects, dedicating little attention to the source of the menace (e.g. cyber warfare, hacktivism, cyber terrorism).”]
