Cyberattacks See Fundamental Changes, A Year into COVID-19

A year after COVID-19 was officially determined to be a pandemic, the methods and tactics used by cybercriminals have drastically changed. Cybercriminals targeted employees logging in to corporate resources from personal devices and on unsecured home networks. Cyberattacks on Collaboration Platforms have also gone after users of cloud services like Flock, GotoMeeting, HighFive, Join.me, MS Teams, Slack, Webex and Zoom.com. In February, there were 377.5 million brute-force attacks on Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) connections.
