Cyber Security strategy develops in Belize

Economist.bz published an article on July 6, 2019, about the development of a cybersecurity strategy in Belize. Here’s a summary just for you.

A cybersecurity workshop was organized by the Ministry of National Security in collaboration with the Public Utilities, the UK based Global Partners Digital, and the Organization of American States in Belize City.

The workshop’s goal was to farther enhance the draft Cyber Security Strategy document and streamline the process of the organizers’ efforts. The expected results of the workshop were to establish clear roles and responsibilities and conclude a concrete action plan.

Representatives of both public and private sector organizations were also present at the event.
