- Exceptional computer skills are no longer needed as resources on the Dark Web can be accessed by Bitcoin which can be used to hack some of the most heavily defended computer systems and networks. To fight against these attacks, the help of professionals who understand new and constantly evolving tools of the cybercriminals’ trade is crucial.
- We have become used to the usual “smash and grab” cyber threat but more effort is being put into more insidious attacks, called Advanced Persistent Threats as they are less easy to detect.
- A Successful ATP relies not only on gaining access to an operating system but truly succeeds by remaining on the system undetected for months harvesting both old and new data.
- To avoid detection, the intruder continuously rewrites code and uses sophisticated detection evasion techniques that only a trained eye can spot. Many organizations utilize full-time system administrators to be fully protected against an APT attack.
