Current Foxit Reader can execute malicious code

Security expert Andrea Micalizzi has discovered a critical vulnerability in Foxit Reader’s browser plugin. When a web page instructs the plugin to open a PDF document from a very long URL, a buffer overflow is created on the stack. The only available protective measure is to disable the plugin in the browser. The vulnerability has been rated highly critical by security expert Secunia Secunia, who also has an exploit for the vulnerability. In Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari browsers, Foxit Readers installs browser plugins by default.”]
