Cubas Central Bank [BCC] is set to issue licenses for virtual asset service providers. Only approved service providers will be allowed to operate in the country. The licenses will be valid for one year and may be extended for a second year. The bill is still awaiting approval from the nations Chamber of Deputies and then signed off by President J. Bolsonaro to become law in the Latin country. Any violators would be dealt with under Decree 363.
