Critical Vulnerability Fixed in Chrome 23

The most serious vulnerability that Google fixed in Chrome 23 is a crash in the browser s history navigation mechanism. That bug is the only critical flaw fixed in the newest version of Chrome. There also are three high-severity vulnerabilities repaired in this release, including two use-after-free bugs, both of which were discovered by Chamal de Silva. The full list of flaws is published on Patch Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET. For more information, visit Google Chrome 23.0.1271.97.
