Critical Security Holes in RealPlayer

RealNetworks has released patches to cover a total of 11 vulnerabilities in several versions of its RealPlayer software. The flaws could lead to code execution attacks. US CERT has issued an advisory following the release, late last week, of a critical patch from Realnetworks for seven vulnerabilities in its common software. CERT recommended users and administrators to review the advisory to determine which RealPlayer products were affected and to patch any vulnerable systems.
