Crime Gang Advertises Stolen ‘Anti-Virus Source Code’

Russian hacker collective ‘Fxmsp’ has been advertising source code stolen from U.S. anti-virus software development firms. Hackers claim to have stolen 30 TB of data and are offering access to the firms’ networks for $300,000. New York-based fraud prevention and risk management firm AdvIntel says the hacker collective has been involved in previous high-profile breaches. The gang has been operating since the mid-2000s and regularly hacks into firms via remote desktop protocol – RDP and Active Directory.”]
