Credential-Stuffing Attack Targets Regional Internet Registry

Regional internet registry RIPE NCC warns of a credential-stuffing attack against its single sign-on service. The attack, which occurred last weekend, caused some downtime and is encouraging users to implement two-factor authentication (2FA) Credential stuffing attacks continue to be the most common opportunistic attack, experts say. The North Face, Dunkin Donuts and Spotify have been hit by similar attacks in recent years, causing password resets for impacted users.
