Craigslist Says Adult Services ‘Terminated’

Law enforcement, advocacy groups say Craigslist’s adult services section promoted sex trafficking. 17 state attorneys general signed a letter calling for Craigslist to shut down the section. The site shuttered the section 12 days ago by slapping a “censored” banner on the area where a link once took the visitor to the section. Craigslist continues to run such sections outside the U.S. The site has since removed the banner from the section, which has since been removed from the site. The subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee is investigating sex trafficking in children.”]
