The national Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition was held at Rochester Institute of Technology this past weekend. Students from 10 different universities and city colleges conducted 10 presentations in two and half hours. Stanford University took first place, followed by Central Florida in second and the University at Buffalo in third. The teams test a fictional company with real infrastructure that has been developed for this test. They are ranked on not only how well they were able to penetrate the corporate infrastructure, but also on the quality of their report and presentation.”]
