Cox Communications has deployed the Cloudmark Authority platform to combat spam and phishing for its broadband subscribers. Cloudmark increases the protection to end users by blocking abusive traffic. It significantly reduces downstream processing power and network storage requirements. The platform demonstrates 20+% greater accuracy at stopping spam in head-to-head trials, while consuming 5-20% of CPU utilization, vs. 80-90% for legacy systems. Cloudmark also reduces the volume of mail consuming costly storage space. In analyses of service provider message stores, Cloudmark verified that as much as 70% of stored messages may be spam.”]
