Congress to Google: Explain Yourself

Google announced significant changes to its privacy policy to take effect March 1. Lawmakers have asked Google to explain its new privacy policy. Google: “We’re making things simpler and we’re trying to be upfront about it. Period” Google Policy Manager Betsy Masiello said Google isn’t collecting more data about consumers. Google has until Feb. 16 to answer 11 questions the House members asked about the privacy policy, a letter says Google will not allow users to opt out of this information collection and sharing.”]
