A bipartisan group of senators is pushing a bill that would require the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to identify and respond to vulnerabilities and threats that target industrial control systems. The bill would also require CISA to provide technical assistance to government agencies and companies to help mitigate flaws in operational technologies and ICS systems as well as sharing intelligence about potential threats and vulnerabilities. The House has already passed a similar measure, which was introduced in response to a series of cyber incidents that have targeted parts of the nation’s critical infrastructure.”]
