Cloudflare Shares National Security Letter It Received in 2013

Security firm Cloudflare on Tuesday was finally able to post a National Security Letter it received from the FBI back in 2013. The letter is part of the company s seventh transparency report, covering the second half of 2016 and also published Tuesday. The FBI said a nondisclosure requirement, originally imposed on the company in February 2013, was no longer necessary. The company enlisted the help of the Electronic Frontier Foundation to file a lawsuit against the government’s power when it comes to NSLs.
