Cisco Patches Six Critical Bugs in UCS Gear and Switches

Six bugs found in Cisco s Unified Computing System gear and its 220 Series Smart switches can allow unauthenticated remote hackers to take over equipment. Each of the bugs has a critical-severity rating and a CVSS score of 9.8. No known public exploits are available and systems impacted by the flaws have not been attacked. Public exploit code for both bugs is available online, however there are no reported incidents leveraging the bugs. The bugs were first made public Aug. 6, but on Wednesday were updated with additional information.
