Cisco has patched a critical security vulnerability that could be exploited by an attacker to take control of an affected system. The vulnerability has been rated 9.8 out of a maximum of 10 on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) The issue is caused due to an incomplete validation of user-supplied input that’s passed to an authentication script during the sign-in process.
