CISA Urges Federal Agencies to Use Approved DNS Service

The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is reminding government agencies to continue using an approved DNS resolution service. The E3A DNS service blocks access to malicious infrastructure by overriding public DNS records that have been identified as dangerous. CISA is encouraging the development of two other DNS services called DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and DNS over. Microsoft announced it would begin to begin to support DoH in November 2019 for web browsers and other web browsers, but other third parties are beginning to roll out these features on their web browsers.”]
