CIA Exortion Scams Using SatoshiBox to Sell Alleged Proof for $500

CIA extortion emails are now selling alleged proof on Satoshi Box for $500 that show you are part of an investigation into underage pornography. Email messages state that the collection office can remove you from an investigation if you send them a payment of $5,000. Yesterday we reported how these extortion emails were now putting the payment instructions into password protected PDFs. In a new variant discovered by Trustwave SpiderLabs, the emails contain password protected zip attachments, with the PDF instructions enclosed in them. The PDF also includes a link to supposed evidence that the user is part of a CIA investigation.
