Check Point security researchers exploit vulnerabilities in HP inkjet printer’s fax system. They were able to take complete control of the printer and access to all systems on a network. The company notified HP officials about the two vulnerabilities before announcing the results of the research. There are still more than 300 million fax numbers in use and all-in-one printers are connected both to the corporate network and the outside world.
