Threat data feeds can help IT security teams better understand threats and block malicious activity, according to a Ponemon Institute study. The report is based on survey responses from 1,025 IT security practitioners in the U.S. and the UK. Financial services was the most-represented industry, followed by industrial and manufacturing, retail and public sector. Respondents also reported that 50% of all attacks can be stopped using timely and actionable intelligence from their threat data feeds. The Ponemon report was published in March.
