Cell Phone Radiation Law: Misguided At Best

San Francisco passed the “Cell Phone Right-to-Know” law requiring cell phone retailers in San Francisco to include radiation information on the device label. While the intent of the law is understandable, its implementation is misguided and the net result won’t actually provide any benefits for users. The CTIA–a group representing the Wireless Association–has filed suit in federal court claiming that the law infringes on the authority of the Federal Communications Commission. Without a direct, verifiable link between mobile phone radiation and health consequences, the numbers displayed by retailers have no real meaning.”]
