When it comes to Cyber Security threats, attackers will what they always do and follow the path of least resistance (least time, cost, and difficulty) to the biggest reward(money, payout yield, reach, best success rate). The world of technology is expanding quickly. This development was created because of the technology of internet technology. This information can be in the form of text, speech, video, and sound, etc.
- According to the Cayman News Service, the Acting Auditor Garbet Harrison has reported to the government that it was facing serious risks to its security due to a catalogue of problems that the government has experienced in the past. The issues from 2012, as said by Harrison is not yet addressed and so the problem has worsened.
- Some of the possible cyber threats that the government could have experienced are a virus, worm, trojan, spam, spyware, and adware.
- A computer virus is a code that can destruct files or systems. Communication technology is one way to spread the virus. A system that is connected to the public is also at an even higher risk because it can be exposed to a various amount of Cyberattacks on a regular basis.
- The government is planning on increasing its online presence in the near future. With that being said, they are going to have to install various security measures so that they can protect their assets.
- Cyber Security is arguably the biggest threat facing governments, businesses, and individuals around the world.
- The government is planning to continue building defensive IT systems, along with improving systems and processes to minimize cyber risks, increase resilience, and speed recovery from Cyberattacks.
- Recovery – antivirus works to detect viruses, not to detect trojans, malware, adware, and spam. However, when these types of viruses begin to develop and cause many problems, antivirus makers add additional data to the coding.
