I seem to be caught in “perfect storm” conditions. I have an MBA, BS + MCSE, CCNA. I have 5+ years of Network Administration/Management experience in Corporate America. I plan to write CISSP within 3 months since I am currently out of the job market. When I apply for a job, I feel ignored. One employer told a friend that they prefer to employ younger (& cheaper) folk. Why should I pursue academic excellence if it then becomes a barrier to the best jobs.”]
