Cardinals Sack Employee After Hack

St. Louis Cardinals have fired one of its front-office staff following alleged hack attacks against rival Houston Astros. The FBI is investigating the Houston Astros professional baseball team, and a related data breach. The Cardinals confirmed July 2 that they had fired Chris Correa, who was the team’s scouting director – in charge of researching and recruiting new players – but declined to detail why. Houston Astros attorney Jim Martin, tells Associated Press that no other employees have been fired to date, but that related investigations remain underway.”]
