Breach of Obamacare Site Spilled Sensitive Data

Breach exposed partial Social Security numbers, immigration status and more. The HealthCare.gov website was hacked in October, the Department of Health and Human Services said. The breach affected 93,689 people, HHS said in a notification letter dated Nov. 7 that’s hidden on the website. The letter does not reveal the details of how the site was hacked. The rest of the HealthCare.gov website continues to function; open enrollment for Obamacare began Nov. 1. The breach occurred through the currently disabled Direct Enrollment pathway for agents and brokers.”]
