A bomb threat shut down eight public schools and hundreds of other religious schools and child-care centers in Virginia on Thursday. The threat was called in to the countys communications center at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. State police used explosives-detecting dogs and bomb technicians to search the buildings. Three schools in three states have been hit by deadly attacks in the past two weeks. Several others have faced threats. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was called for assistance.”]
