BlueKeep Patching Still Spotty Months After Alerts: Report

SecurityScorecard: Financial services firms have fared better than other sectors when it comes to patching for BlueKeep vulnerability. Financial sector tended to patch the fastest – when a system discovered a system was vulnerable, researchers say. Microsoft first issued a warning of the vulnerability on May 14, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency have also issued warnings. The vulnerability is found in older versions of Windows, including Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows Server 2008.”]
