BlueKeep Attacks Arrive, Bearing Cryptomining Malware

First in-the-wild exploits have arrived, but experts say they don’t constitute an emergency – at least yet. The BlueKeep vulnerability in Windows allows attackers to gain access to remote computers via remote desktop services. The vulnerability’s existence was under wraps until May 14, when Microsoft issued a patch. Attack code so far seen in the wild isn’t a worm, writes U.K. security researcher Kevin Beaumont.
