Be careful what you search for

Search engine optimization (SEO) is becoming a trick of the trade for spammers and malware authors looking to drive traffic to their own infected websites. The technique shows the growing sophistication of the spammer and malware author community. Spammers create websites that focus on one specific key word or search term to improve their site rankings in search engines. Some infected websites may even appear on the first page of returns in search results. Users should be extremely wary of downloading any executable files or browser plug-ins on the Web.
