Barbados must strenghten its Cyber Security

Barbados Government Information Service published an article on May 15, 2018, about the appeal to strengthen cybersecurity in the country. Here’s a quick summary just for you.

An appeal has been made to Barbados and the region to improve their information protection, especially in the light of the recent implementation by the European Union of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on data security. This came from Daidre Leacock, Business Development Officer at the Caribbean Israel Center for Cyber Defense (CICCD), during a press conference at the Barbados Investment Development Corporation (BIDC) this morning.
