- As a father of two girls aged six and 16, Williams spoke passionately about the misuse which can come from “those who have no misgivings and see it as a way or as an object to hurt other people”. There are cracks within the current laws which children fall through, highlighted by Williams.
- He noted that the Computer Misuse Act had not been updated since 2005, yet technology continued to change rapidly.
