Baidu, operator of China’s largest search engine, is suing domestic security vendor 360 for unfair competition. 360’s security software flags both toolbars as malware. 360: Search engines are sites for “swindling” and that they provide avenues for online threats to reach users. 360 has also seen trouble with Yahoo China and other domestic companies in the past. The suit was accepted by Beijing’s Second Intermediate People’s Court last month and demands that 360 cease with its unfair practices. The company says it is not a security company and is not protecting its users.”]
