AutoCAD Worm Targets Design Documents In Possible Espionage Campaign

A malware campaign targeting AutoCAD drawings uncovered by security researchers at ESET could be a massive case of industrial espionage. The campaign appears to be primarily targeting Peru and has reached at least 10,000 machines. The infection occurs when a victim opens a document with the malicious LISP code. Once the code is started, it will create copies of itself in multiple locations to spread to other systems. There is no command-and-control server involved in this operation, says researcher Pierre-Marc Bureau.”]
