Google to pay $7.5M in class action settlement. That’s $5 a victim.

Google+ users today are receiving emails with details on the two-year class-action lawsuit Google had been litigating because of the Google+ data leak. Google+ had shut down its services in October 2018 after a bug leaked user’s personal data. The court has mandated on a preliminary basis that Google pay $7.5 million to the plaintiffs (“class””) whose information had been leaking due to the leak. The deadline for filing claims
