Attackers Hit Clearinghouse Selling Stolen Target Data

Two websites specializing in the sale of stolen credit and debit card information appear to have been defaced. The sites were part of the Rescator network, selling stolen card data from Target, Neiman Marcus, others. The latest batch of cards to be offered for sale via the sites appeared on March 11, dubbed “Great Pompeii” Sally Beauty Supply, a $3.6 billion professional beauty supplies retailer, says a recent network breach resulted in the theft of card information. The theft appeared to trace to the same crew that hacked Target.”]
