Apple Releases Fix for Indian Telugu Character Crash Bug

Apple releases updates for a bug that crashed Mac and iOS apps last week. The bug caused a frenzy on social media, with people adding it in their social media profile names. The Telugu character’s use grew so rampant on Twitter that the social network’s staff banned it from use for the time being. Apple tracks the bug as CVE-2018-4124, and describes it as “a memory corruption issue”” Users are advised to apply the update if they want to surf the Internet today safely.”
