Apple Patches 10-Year-Old macOS SUDO Root Privilege Escalation Bug

Apple rolls out a fix for a critical ‘vulnerability’ in MacOS Big Sur, Mojave, Catalina, and Mojave. The vulnerability could allow unauthenticated local users to gain root-level privileges on the system. The fix also includes patches for two flaws in Intel Graphics Driver flaws. Apple users who haven’t opted for updates automatically can head to System Preferences to download and install the latest updates.
