Apple fixes the Meltdown and Spectre flaws in Macs, iPhones, and iPads

Apple’s MacOS 10.13.2 and iOS 11.2 have mitigated the effects of Meltdown and Spectre. But Safari browser could be exploited via a Javascript attack via the vulnerability. Android users have been left in the lurch by lack of a security update, says Graham Cluley. The latest and most expensive Android devices from leading vendors will receive an update in due course, but many others will be left in a lurch.
